Additional Services Available on NGN’s
Single translation service – The simplest possible NGN service, calls made to your NGN number are directed to a predefined UK landline.
Time translation service – Redirects your incoming NGN calls to a maximum of 15 alternative landline numbers, according to the day of the week/time of day, e.g. All weekend and evening calls could be re-directed to a different number than daytime/weekday calls.
No-answer diversion – If a call to your NGN numbers is not answered (perhaps because all lines are busy), the call is re-directed to alternative number (e.g. another department, office or call centre).
Network queuing – The most popular network service implemented, this service eliminates the originating caller hearing the engaged tone. Commonly now used in doctors surgeries, this service is ideal for any type of business receiving volumes of calls where they have more calls received than people to answer them. Please see the section Network Queuing Explained for full details.

Call ratio distribution – If you have more than one office/call centre, and each location has a different capacity to deal with calls, incoming calls can be distributed proportionately between each location.
Recorded voice announcement – lets you set up and host pre-recorded information services. Ideal for product information lines, or service status hotlines.

Data Capture – Avoid missing vital enquiries. This service lets you set up a series of questions, which callers respond to by leaving voice clippings. For example, callers responding to a competition may leave their name, address and telephone number as well as their answers; you can then retrieve this information when convenient. A widely used facility for easy, convenient brochure ordering.
Geographic divert – If a customer calls from a pre-determined geographic area (postcode, STD codes, counties or regional TV areas), you can choose to redirect the call to a specific number (e.g. nearest branch, a regional call centre, a number dealing with a regional marketing campaign etc.)
Store locator – By examining the CLI (Calling Line Identity) of the inbound call, Store Locator can establish which part of the UK the call is from and route it directly to the nearest store, ensuring that your customers receive the most efficient service possible.
Bespoke – Whilst we have an extensive range of network services, there may be occasions where a bespoke solution would be preferred. Tell us what you would like, and we will see if it can be developed.
