How Does This Work

CPS (Carrier Pre-Selection) – Allows customers’ to choose which telecommunications provider they wish to carry their voice calls, CPS is an exchange based routing protocol. There is no inconvenience involved with CPS, no auto diallers to plug in’s, no manual prefixing of outgoing calls with an access number or reprogramming of your telephone system*; You keep your existing telephone numbers and continue to make calls as usual.

When routing outgoing calls via CPS, calls are automatically routed over our network, by your local telephone exchange.

*Please note: If you have a telephone system which is pre programmed to carry calls via a particular carrier, this programming will need to be removed in order not to override the CPS routing.
